In the words of a couple married by Rabbi Marge (featured above, far right): "We feel so lucky to have found Rabbi Wise. She is an outstanding teacher and mentor who went above and beyond for our family. Though we are in the far flung diaspora, she made us feel integrated into the Jewish community. Each week, we discussed different traditions and the reasons behind them. She is patient and supportive, spending hours encouraging my questions and teaching me to read Hebrew. She showed us the warmth of a Jewish home and gave us the skills to build our own. 

​Though my husband and I have been legally married for many years, she performed our Jewish wedding so we could have a ketubah.  She held a beautiful naming ceremony for our baby girl. It was the perfect way to reflect on how our lives had changed overnight. I treasured my weekly meetings with her and she is still a dear friend and mentor even though my conversion is complete."

Even if Rabbi Marge had only taught me Hebrew it would have been enough. All these wonderful things have happened to me and we’re a part of community that I really feel so deeply in my soul. Thank you for the most beautiful gift. I daven like I was born with it now, and I think of you every time I read Hebrew."
